Photographs of people and places, Old parish magazines, Letters, Scrapbooks, Memories We will copy and return any photographs or other material about Norwell lent to us. We would particularly like to build up a record of buildings that have now gone. Text Box: Welcome Norwell is a parish located 5 miles north of Newark, Nottinghamshire and now has a  population of about 450 people.  The Heritage Group has received funding from the Lottery Heritage Fund to produce a Heritage Trail and a series of booklets about the history of the parish. The Group organises a series of talks and other events relating to the heritage of Norwell Parish.  There are opportunities for training in techniques for local and family history. This website is under construction so look out for more news as we develop it. We would like to hear from anyone who is interested in joining us or who has any information about the heritage of the parish of Norwell that they would be willing to share.
